I took the car in for an oil change and tire pressure monitor warning light.When I asked if the monitor would be covered under the extended warranty,I was told the warranty was cancelled and would have to talk with Michael Schmida,the finance manager. I did so and he confirmed the warranty was paid and said this was an internal office problem that he would check into and call me.Never did. I received a call from the parts dept.that the monitors were in and when I explained the situation to her about the warranty she said she would check with Michael and he or her would contact me. As of today,3/21/26 I have not heard back from anyone.This is truly an annoying problem.Please rectify and contact me--216-406-0799 or rkristoff53@yahoo.com

On June 4th I had an appointment for my 2022 Equinox for a first free SVC from dealership - lease buyout oil change and for a rear water leak near the driver's side hatch that drips out the vent near the fuse box. The invoice states the tech performed a multi-point inspection and "verified no more water intrusion". I was charged $206.76 for the tech to unclog the sunroof drain holes. After the June 5th rain, on June 6th I noticed there was water dripping in the same area puddling on the rear mat again. When I called the Service Dept on the 6th, I asked if the second appointment was going to be covered by Preston since it was not fixed properly the first time at $165 per hour. The nice gal who answered the phone placed me on hold to ask her manager. Needless to say, the answer was they didn't know if I would be charged additional money until they performed another inspection. I would like to think Preston Dealership would apply the first $206.76 to the second inconvenient appointment on June 12th since the issue was so called "verified" and obviously not fixed. I told Mr. Powell when I bought out the lease in February 2025, I would be a loyal customer to Preston for vehicle service. This was because of the great sales service I received from Mr. Powell during my GMC trade-in and my initial purchase of the Equinox RS. On a different note, I also appreciated Mr. Powell's assistance during my recent lease buyout. Since my lease buyout, I moved from Aurora to Cuyahoga Falls and now it's an hour drive for me one way, but I kept my word and made my service appointment at Preston. Fact is, I could have easily driven two miles to Ron Marhofer, but I didn't. I unfortunately, I have another appointment on June 12th at 10:15 a.m. to see if the rear water leak can be resolved. I brought my Malibu in for recall work. I experienced reduced engine power and presented a letter from GM to the Preston regarding the issue. Unfortunately, I was unable to take the car in myself due to scheduling issues. The car was dropped off Thursday for a Friday morning appointment with paperwork and statements for recent work that had been done. I was called Friday afternoon about 1 pm. The service manager informed the car should be ready by 3 or 4 pm that day. I said that was good as long as the car was ready by Saturday morning. I also informed service to contact my dad as I would unavailable. Just after 2 pm I received a call from my father saying that the service manager informed him a part needed ordered and wouldn't be in until Tuesday . Service said they try to have the part expedited. My father for whatever reason picked the car up Friday evening. Saturday at 3 pm I received a call from Preston letting me know that the part had arrived and I could bring the car back at my convenience. My dad returned the car Sunday night. The part was installed first thing Monday morning. I was not called when the work was completed. I reached out late Monday morning. My parents picked up the car. My father was told by service that my paperwork (paperwork I brought in) was in the car. It is not in the car. I would very much like that paperwork back. I'm not sure why my dad handed it over in the first place.

As I was driving my work truck I noticed a caliper was not releasing fully after applying the brakes which was causing the truck to slowly pull to one side. I called the service department and spoke to Adam Brown and he had me drop the vehicle off so it could be serviced. This was early Friday morning and he had the truck repaired and returned to me Saturday morning. This was totally unexpected because I figured I wouldn't get the truck back until Monday evening. I scheduled an appointment for my car Friday the 13th at 8:15. My dad dropped it off the Thursday afternoon before. I had sent some paperwork with him describing the issue and other paperwork of recent work that had been done. There was some miscommunication back and forth. Mostly because I left my dad to take care of my car. The work got done later than I was expecting. However, from my end Braydon the service advisor was polite, professional, and did everything I asked of him. Adam , the service manager was great to work with. I brought my 2021 Corvette in because of a check engine light. It turns out that the transmission needed serviced and the steering gearbox went out. Kind of crazy, given the care is 4 years old and only has 9049 miles on it. At any rate, Adam and the service tech (Brandon????) diagnosed my issue and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Adam gave me his personal cell to call him if I had questions. The car sat almost two month at the dealership waiting on back ordered parts. I just got the car back last night. Cheers to Adam & Brandon for a job well done!

The oil change and tire rotation went well. I have been there twice since purchasing my vehicle from you in April of this year. Each time I have requested the squeak be looked at in the drivers rear brakes. Each time I’m sent a video telling me how good of shape my brakes are in. My brakes still squeak. When I picked up the van it was in a garage bay that was blocked by a school bus that was in que for its route. We were not able to explore the Sirius or On Star features in the garage. The explanation of the systems was a little short and I have spent time pouring through the manual learning the vehicle. The whole process seemed a little rushed, but acceptable.

I took my vehicle in for warranty services & it took several master techs, several test drives, three visits over three months, to finally fix a broken motor mount. A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE! I drove 7k miles in four months since I've owned the vehicle. I know my vehicle. My family's safety was beyond compromised! Adam Brown nor Bill Preston had Zero regards to my other saftey concerns & damages due to broken motor mount for months. Adam Brown in the service department is very insulting & unprofessional to say the least. I would NEVER recommend Preston service department to anyone!

We appreciate the dealership fixing the wheel sensor finally. Marvin in service had contacted me regarding fixing the rust on the bed which was like that since we bought it and they would do nothing but oil spray underneath. He told me to find a time we could drop it off for a week or two to fix the sensor and the rust on the bed. And again big disappointment. Surprise surprise they fixed the wheel sensor but did not do anything with the bed he said he will try, which is not what Marvin told me! Again nothing but run around! Never would I purchase a vehicle from the dealership again and I will tell everybody about it with the poor service and selling something that was already rusted. Which obviously they did not inspect very well and now of course, we have to wait to see if it’s taken care of. WhichI highly doubt they will. I would definitely let everybody I know never to buy a vehicle from them or lease. So here I am again waiting to find out from Marvin, if this is gonna be taken care of!!

The sales man David did a great job. I did not need a new truck but just was looking to up grade. The finance guy was also great he took his time and no pressure. The only thing I don’t understand was when the service department was asked to put the steps from my old truck on the new one he was going to make me come back. They did complete the switch but as a customer buying a new vehicle it made me feel a little uncomfortable about deciding to purchase from your dealership. I will be honest if they didn’t take care of it then I was not going to complete the purchase.

Communication was poor at best. The vehicle was towed to the dealership on Nov 24 arriving around 11:00 AM. I called around 3:30 PM or so to verify receipt and get a status update. No return call. Reached out again on the morning of the 25th again asking for a status update. No return call. Called again on the 26th. Finally received a call around 1:00 PM telling me that they were trying to source a part. They would call of leave me a voicemail with that info. Never got a call, text or voicemail. Called again Friday morning. They had the part and would get to it ASAP. When I asked for an ETA the service advisor say probably Monday or Tuesday. Followed up Monday afternoon. I was told that it would be Tuesday. I called around 2:00 PM Tuesday and was told that the tech was sick and that it should be done Wednesday. Finally got the car at 3:00 PM Wednesday Dec3. The call center staff was very helpful. I think I spoke to Lauren, Brittney, Payton and Page. All were verry pleasant and tried to be helpful.

When I dropped it off overnight, it was scheduled to start first thing in the morning, so I could pick it up and not be without a vehicle. Not sure if anything was even done. Doesn't seem so. I never got a call, and when I called they said it was done. I had to show them where my truck was and it was covered with 5" of snow, so not likely it even moved. Software update didn't show anything new either. If you don't want to work on the car, then don't have me spend my time driving 2 hrs back and forth to bring it there. I know most places don't like EVs, but just upsetting.

Purchased a car on Saturday afternoon that still needed serviced and clean, which is completely on me for choosing to purchase a car I was not able to take that day, but was told I would have it by no later than Monday afternoon. I reached out Monday to make sure the car would be ready and was told it was not in the shop at 9am due to call offs, which again is understandable considering the weather. I did not hear any updates about my car unless I was reaching out. After reaching out again Monday afternoon I was told tomorrow(Tuesday) at the latest, but was given no other information other than that. Tuesday morning I call and ask if I would be able to pick up the car around 12:00pm and then I am told they are waiting for a part. I didn’t even know that there was anything that needed to be replaced on the car in the first place. I am grateful that they were addressing the issue, but I was given no more updates after that. My husband then called later that afternoon and was told yet again that we would have the car tomorrow(Wednesday) at the latest and call back tomorrow around 11am. The car did end up getting finished around 4pm on Tuesday, but I am highly disappointed with the lack of communication during the whole process. I would have been more understanding had they reached out, even sent a text, to keep me updated on what was going on with the car.

Everything went well. Very friendly customer reps. I notified him to please have the service technician inspect my license plate lights. They both went out at the exact same time so I'm more concerned about a short at this point but you never know, I guess it's possible they both went out at the same time??? Anyways, the wait time was very reasonable. Unfortunately the customer svc. rep. told me the technician went ahead and replaced both lights. So all was good...I thought! Turns out both are still not operating at all! This is unacceptable, why lie? Now I'm second guessing if my tires were actually rotated? My in cabin filter?? I even need to check my windshield washer fluid at this point. Mind you this is a 40 minute drive one way for me.

We found her a new Traverse at a dealership some miles away, They went and got it for her, and we made a very good trade deal (I think they are one of the most honest on trades). I had to order a new Silverado HD, and 2 months later, I had a beautiful new truck...we got matching paint colors. They gave me a good trade value at time of ordering, and had no issue keeping my original deal in place. We already look forward to doing it all again in three years. Keeping our new vehicles in warranty is the plan. I always check prices elsewhere, but keep coming back to Preston. And the same sales persons for several years now.

2 hours and 20 minutes for an oil change is far too long to wait. Especially when I was told it would be an hour and a half when they took my truck to do it. Maybe this is how they keep people from scheduling their next courtesy oil change.

I liked the free oil change but I don’t understand if you have an appointment why it takes 2 hrs to change the oil. I also received a video that shore tires off the truck so the mechanic could check the brakes but he didn’t rotate the tires that would have been a nice plus sense they were already off.

I did not expect to have a four wheel alignment to be done on a car that is less than a year old. Also at 9 months, A navigation module had to be replaced, reinforcing the notion that I will not buy another NEW car. I took the car in for an oil change and tire pressure monitor warning light.When I asked if the monitor would be covered under the extended warranty,I was told the warranty was cancelled and would have to talk with Michael Schmida,the finance manager. I did so and he confirmed the warranty was paid and said this was an internal office problem that he would check into and call me.Never did. I received a call from the parts dept.that the monitors were in and when I explained the situation to her about the warranty she said she would check with Michael and he or her would contact me. I purchased my vehicle I Preston Kia. Because that's where it was traded. I've had these free oil changes, tire rotations Etc., and even though I live in Broadview Heights I still make the Trek. One of my friends picks me up, we go and have breakfast with another friend down the street, and then they drop me off and I take my car. It has been great. And I'm wondering after my last one if I indeed might come back out there to get it done. Because it's just been so easy. I especially like this time that they sent me the video of what they did and it was really great to see my tire wear. I've been wondering about it and wondering when I'll have to get new tires. This helped me know where I stand. I have yet to have someone in the service area give me any problems, or attitude or any of that other garbage that comes along with it nowadays. I'm grateful for that and for all of it!

The vehicle was scheduled for a courtesy pick up at 7:30 from my work. I received a call at 6:50 saying that they were on the way, I don’t arrive to work till 715. The vehicle was picked up at 745. I needed my vehicle back by 3 o’clock. I requested an oil change and tire pressure sensors to be replaced in my front two tires. I received a call saying brakes and rotors were also recommended and that the TPS sensors were on backorder. I passed on the brake job so all that was being performed was an oil change entire rotation. I did not receive my vehicle back until 345 I was stranded at work and late picking up my son from the sitters. I had called a month earlier to set this appointment identifying that the tire pressure sensors needed to be replaced. My question is why weren’t they ordered at that time? The shop had the car for eight hours and performed an oil change. They forgot to rotate the tires.

On a scale of ten, I would give you a 15!!!! I’m 86 so I’ve purchased MANY cars over the years and I’m regretting that I didn’t experience the Preston difference sooner I was always busy and felt that Burton was too far away. How short sighted I was!! Everyone that I have met, from Jackie to Braydon have been outstanding. It’s a completely higher level of customer service,a culture that starts at the top and permeates through the whole organization Thanks and kudos to Pat Preston and whole Preston family for a great experience!! I had an error that the tech observed that was never addressed by the service manager. Now I have to go back again to have the error resolved, although it could have been during the initial visit.
